Girls Guns and Glory Clinches Act of the Year, Outstanding Americana Act

As a fitting conclusion to an absolutely amazing year, Girls Guns and Glory walked away from the 21st Annual Boston Music Awards as the Outstanding Americana Act of the Year, and even more outstanding, as the BMA’s Local Act of the Year, beating out talented artists including Local Album of the Year winner, Akrobatic, and Local Male Vocalist winner, Eli “Paperboy” Reed.
This year’s BMA’s was a privately held event hosted at the Tremont Street Clubs, featuring performances from several of the nominees. Girls Guns and Glory rocked a 20 minute set on the event’s main stage at the Roxy.

Chance for Tickets to the Boston Music Awards!

Girls Guns and Glory has a few tickets to hand out for the 2008 Boston Music Awards at the Roxy on Sunday, Dec. 7th. This year’s BMA’s are fairly exclusive, so if you want to go, here’s your chance.
All we ask is that you vote at least one more time (and more if you have the time!), and that your name be on our mailing list. If you have friends that might be interested in this drawing, feel free to let them know, and have them sign-up for the mailing list right here at GirlsGunsandGlory.com.
