Happy New Year!! I hope that 2011 is off to a wonderful start. This is gonna be a good year, I tell ya. There's something special in the air, it's something you can breathe in and feel on a soul level. There are some cliche sayings that you commonly hear about the new year and new beginnings. But, those sayings have become so widespread because the start of a new year has so much potential and so much promise.

And here in GGG Land the new year has started with a promising bang. On 1/1/11, our Hank Williams show SOLD OUT in just 15 minutes!! We truly couldn't have been happier that so many people came out to see the show and take part in the event. The night was filled with special guests, including the show opener The Sweet & Lowdown, Miss Tess, Celia Woodsmith & Avi Salloway (Hey Mama), and Jason Anick on Fiddle. It was a hometown throw-down set to the tune of Ole Hank's songs. And truly a dream come true to share the music of Hank Williams with so many wonderful people.

And just to whet your appetite a little more, the final mixes for our upcoming album were finished just in time for the new year. Mixed by the Grammy Award-winning Production & Engineering team of Paul Q. Kolderie & Adam Taylor, the album has 11 new original songs and will be out this spring on Lonesome Day Records. We'll be sure to keep you posted on the exact release date, and how to pre-order your copy. As for the rest of January, we're about to get busy!
