Friends, GGG Heads, Countrymen (and Countrywomen), lend me your ears!!

We have some great things in the works for the month of May; some regional touring in MA and NH, a lot of writing and recording, and hopefully even a little downtime. You know, just to make sure we're still living in reality and that music hasn't swallowed us whole, just to spit us back out as a bunch of mini-Keith Richards'. Although, maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing??!!

Last weekend GGG assembled at The Chicken Barn Studio in Bowdoinham, ME to begin pre-production for our 4th studio album. The experience was truly incredible. Our original goal was to polish up a few songs we'd been working on and to learn and demo a few brand new songs that we had never worked on before. The end result far exceeded out expectations, with 17 new songs assembled and demo-ed by the full band!!

Long story short, the weekend couldn't have gone any better unless we found a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow or something to that effect. We missed the majority of the Boston water emergency, got to sample some fine homecooked cuisine and we now have more new songs to work with than we initially imagined. We are hugely excited to start debuting some of these songs at upcoming live performances. So, lend us your ears and we'll share with you some of the songs from this brand new batch!! We can't wait for you to hear 'em!!

For Live Shows, here's where you can find GGG in May, plus a return to the South Shore for Ward's Birthday Show!!:

Framingham, MA - May 7 @ Amazing Things Arts Center (w/ Highway Ghosts), 8pm

Northampton, MA - May 20 @ Iron Horse Music Hall (w/ Southern Culture on the Skids), 7pm sharp!!

Quincy, MA - May 21 @ The Beachcomber (Ward's Birthday Show, with special guest Joe Kessler on Fiddle) - Roy Davis opens, 9pm

Lebanon, NH - May 22 @ The Salt Hill Pub, 9pm

Martha's Vineyard, MA - May 28 @ The Vineyard Playhouse (w/ Sarah Blacker), 7pm

GGG will be out on Martha's Vineyard for the entire Memorial Day long weekend with all our gear and nothing, but time and instruments on our hands. If you or someone you know wants a kick-ass Americana/Country band to play their party on the island, resulting in your friends talking about how awesome you are for years to come...well, we want to be that band!! Just send us a message at info@girlsgunsandglory.com and let's make it happen!

Thanks so much for all your continued support, we are so excited to be beginning work on the new album and can't wait to share it with you all!! Without all of you we'd just be a band in a basement, with a couple of songs and a whole bunch of wishes. You all make what we do possible and you're an amazing group of fans and friends!! See you out on the road (or back home for Ward's Birthday Show)!!!
